Loaded in the truck where I picked it up in Nashville
Before installing the tank, I made SURE it wouldn't be in the way of my 5th wheel hitch
With the tank in-place, I used a white paint-pen to mark the spot to drill a hole in the side of the truck-bed.
I made the hole big enough to run the rubber line through a piece of 1/2" PVC pipe
Fuel transfer hose connected.
Fuel transfer adapter & fitting installed in the filler hose
Fuel transfer hose exits the PVC pipe and makes a gentle 180-degree bend around the filler hose.
Valve open - no leaks!
Close up of the connection under the truck.
All tidied up.
Better view of the hoses.
The adhesive that didn't stick-around.
I already had this in the shop... just what I needed!
This clevis works
Chain installed; the cord was already there.
Every link in the chain is a tie-down point, and I don't have to deal with the cramped space if I don't want to.
All bolted down and 5th wheel hitch in place
The box does NOT block my view of the hitch
All hooked up. NO problem with that lid!
